Suggest Treatment For Painful Pea-sized Cyst On Back

I ve had a small cyst on my back for half my life and Andre weeks ago it went from the size of a pea to the size of a golf ball. It started to hurt in the past week and a half and is bruising and still enlarged. What does it mean? I have type 2 diabetes if that helps.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Lump in the back what you have described and having pain could be infected sebeceous cyst or infected dermoid cyst.
Kindly take an opinion in this regard from Surgeon. It needs to be removed by excision.
Since you give history of diabetes, your blood glucose should be under control for its removal.
Kindly plan accordingly and get it excised.
