Suggest Treatment For Painful Puss Filled Acne
Hi, I am 25 year old and I have acne problem since when I was 13. I get very painful acne with puss. I went to dermatologist also and continued his treatment for 6 months but after treatment again it started. I don't understand what is the actual cause of this. I follow a good diet, drink lot of water but still I am not able to get rid of pimples. I wash my face with good cleanser. I used benzoyl peroxide also. Please suggest me what should I do?

The symptoms you mention shows severe infection known as cystic acne . As you do not mention the treatment you got from your doctor .
I would suggest you to :-
Consult dermatologist again .
Doctor may prescribe antibiotic like minocycline 50 mg daily in morning and isotretinoin capsule .
He/she may prescribe clindamycine gel for applying twice daily or retinoid gel .
Continue using benzoyl peroxide face wash and give cold compresses .
