Mu throat started developing red bumps that hurt and taht also hurt while i swallow and along with it theres a little coughing and flu like sumptoms this is the second time its happened to me last time it happened it was a couple years ago i went to the doctor because i was unable to eat nothing due to the pain it would cause i just drinked liquids and they said it was nothing any thoughts of what it could be?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain painful red bumps in the throat can be due to Granular Pharyngitis that can be due to either bacterial or viral infection.. I would suggest you to consult an ENT Expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly.. You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and along with it do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and also suck throat lozenges.. You can chew a Vitamin C pellet to boost your immunity and relieve the symptoms faster.. Sip on plenty of warm water and other warm fluids..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
