Suggest Treatment For Painful Sore On Nose After Mohs Surgery

my mom is 85 with dementia, she has a sore that hasn't healed on her nose, and has been wearing a band aid in the nursing home for 2 mos. Having had Mohs surgery myself 6 mos ago, I think she may need it also. I think the nursing home is reluctant to put her through it but she could live another 5-10 years, it has to be addressed in my opinion. I didn't think the Mohs surgery was too painful after a day. Should age enter into this decision? I think it better to nip in the bud regardless.

Good day!
Post surgical complaints like this are very common. Geriatric age limits further make it worse. Seek a pain management specialist or plastic surgeon to sort out the pain management for you.
Good luck
