Suggest Treatment For Painful Swelling On Penis

hi Doctor 2 days ago area on my left side (waist level) or you can say just on left side on my under shave area. its got swelled Suddenly my penis got swelled too and its painful now when i press it or rub it. the swelling and pain appeared right after i got fever yesterday Fever is now fine but those areas are still swelled and painful. I dont know exactly its name is it swollen lymph nodes or what else. Please suggest me what should i do, is it some serious problem ? should i see some doctor rigth away or i can take just an antibiotic and relax ? your response will be well appreciated thanks

Hi,

Swelling in groin, pain and swelling of penis, and fever- these symptoms suggests acute balanitis/baloposthitis (infection of tip of penis) with secondary enlargement of lymph node in groin.

Kindly see your doctor as this needs antibiotic treatment. Meanwhile you can take ibuprofen tablets 3 times a day for pain relief. Also keep the area clean and dry.
