Suggest Treatment For Painful Swollen Foot

I was coming down a staircase on Christmas day and missed the last step and hurt my right foot alot. Ice was applied immediately and I have been resting it since then. However, the top of my foot is still severely swollen and I still cannot properly walk on it.

I would suggest you to take X ray of the foot to check if there is any bony injury.
If x ray is normal then you can apply ice and Diclofenac ointment and take Brufen tablet. I would also recommend you to apply compression bandage.
