Suggest Treatment For Painful Swollen Moles On Back

Hi there,

I have two swollen moles on my back, I started to pick at them and scratch them now they hurt. Will they go down? Is this something I should be concerned about they did become a lot more raised than they initially were before I started scratching at them.

Hello there,
Moles generally are not painful. What you seem to be describing seem to be boils especially if they are painful and have a whitish head. To be on the safer side I would request you to consult a dermatologist to rule out anything serious. For the time being you can apply calamine lotion on them to soothe your scratching/peeling pain.

Hope this helps,
Please feel free to ask me any further questions. I will gladly answer them.
