my son can not urine at work. Just started a new job. Broke up with his girl friend. the job is very important. He had this on an off since he was a child but handled somehow. He says he tried to relax, sit and urinate, listen to music, just started taking flomax (twice so far) but nothing helps. He says he is in pain Any doctor s in westchester ny that may specialize in this? or other suggestions?
He might have these symptoms because of taking stress, probably.Try to avoid stress. Advise him for doing regular exercise. Yoga and medication early in the morning useful. Talk with him daily and encourage him and help him in office works. Endulge him in some activity in evening like playing sport, dancing etc.
If still difficult urine with burning then I will advise to go for urine routine microscopic examination and USG .If infective cause likely antibiotic needed.
Avoid straining at urination.
Go for urination when required.Because of some work urination not to be postponed.
Drink more water.
I hope my suggestion will helpful to you.
