Suggest Treatment For Painless Lump Under The Shoulder Blades
I have a painless spongy or soft movable ball or pocket sort of under my shoulder blade that was found by my friend who was massaging my back. It s painless but I do and have for a long time had neck and shoulder pain and upper back pain headaches sometime as well. I have had prior back injury years ago always had horrible posture and always tenses causing me to tighten my muscles leading to deep knot s and rock hard shoulder muscles painful to the touch. Is this lump likely a result of my muscles issues or Something more concerning?

Suggest Treatment For Painless Lump Under The Shoulder Blades
Hello, A lump on the shoulder is most likely to be a lipoma or a cyst. A lipoma is a soft, fatty lump that grows under the skin. It s fairly common, harmless and can usually be left alone. No treatment is required. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
