Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my doctor thinks i might have pancreatitis. i have dull pain all the time 24/7 and now everytime i eat i am extremely nauseous drinking gatorade and stuff like that is ok but no food and i feel this dull pain in my stomach and it does sometimes go through to my back. Any suggestions
As your physician mentioned you might have pancreatitis, why not going the scanning of the whole abdomen which can help look further deep into the tissue level which might help us to come closer to the root cause.
Also , most organ will lead to something called as a refered pain. that means the pain in the kidneys due to kidney stones leads to back ache and this is called the referred pain. So getting a ultrasound scanning of the abdomen will expose the internal organs and help to come closer to diagnosis.
Also, after the scanning, the insights provided by it will help further to plan the precise treatment plan.
Also, you may need to do some general exercises like breathing, abdominal strengthening and for back ache physical therapy will help reduce the pain and symptoms.
