Suggest Treatment For Pancreatitis

my father is in the hospital in the Azores Islands. The doctors have diagnosed him with pancreatitis he is 83 years old and has heart problems. Can you give me a best case scenario and would you suggest that I get on the next flight out? What are the typical medications or treatment procedures commonly used with this given his age and medical history?

Pancreatitis is managed by pain killers and maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance in body. The cause of pancreatitis need to be investigated and thus managed. Pancreatitis can be caused by alcohol, gall stones etc. The underlying cause needs to be treated.
