Suggest Treatment For Paralysis Post Bone Replacement

My mum Had a bone in her neck replaced on 23may however when she woke from operation she had temporary paralysis Slowly over the next day feelings came back in her hands and feet but her left leg and arm are still paralysed Nd she has no feeling in them at all?? Is this likely to return????

Hello,

As there will be some inflammation in the spinal cord due to the operation and this will take its time.

It's a good sign that her sensations are coming back that means we can even expect the upper limb and lower limb movements to resume back.

Continue physiotherapy which can help to maintain the muscle property and as the inflammation will keep coming down the movement will regain back.

This is normal in many cases undergoing Cervical spine surgery and most of them recover with slow pace if the spinal cord is not damaged.
