Suggest Treatment For Parkinson's Disease

my husband has parkinson's disease and I've tried and am trying to get him into the doctor's office his symtoms are congestion he thinks in his broncial tube area at first it was just his throat I gave him robotusin and he got a headache which he never has headaches i took his blood pressure and it said 203mmg 112 64 what does the 203mmg mean. I was thinking that was the pulse but maybe I was wrong and the pulse is 64 and maybe his reading was 203 over 112. I called his nuerologist and she said for him to go to the primary physcian and get a ekg. What does an ekg tell you. Also I'm waiting to hear back from the doctor's office to try and get in, I've called them back and still have no answer so could you tell me what some of these reading mean. Also I gave my husband some amoxicilyn for the broncial infection, sometimes these doctors make you wait too long and I tried waiting on them also I'm giving him alkezelter plus. Snapps for the sore thoart.

Different instruments have different display systems. However, in my opinion, this is what the instrument showed: Blood Pressure (BP) 203 / 112 mm of Hg and pulse 64/minute.
1. Your immediate concern should be to bring blood pressure under control. Therefore, see a primary physician as soon as possible. Measure the blood pressure again.
If it remains high or increases further, take your husband to the emergency room in hospital. Anyway, having a headache that he has never had before is also a reason you should take him to emergency.
2. EKG is electrocardiograph. It is recording of electrical impulses in heart and gives crucial information about condition of heart. Your husband was advised EKG in view of his high BP. EKG will, along with detecting other problems in heart, will also show whether long term high BP has affected his heart.
3. Parkinson's disease is very slowly progressive disorder. Therefore, you can surely afford to wait for a couple of weeks to see the neurologist.
4. Since you have already started Amoxycillin, you should ensure that you give it in adequate dosage for adequate days. The dose is 250 to 500 mg three times a day for 7 to 10 days.
5. Give him alkezelter plus only as long as he has severe symptoms.
I hope this answers your questions.
