Suggest Treatment For Partial Blindness After Accidental Chilly Seed Falling In Eye
Hi Doc, My question is regarding an eye problem which caused almost blindness to one of the eye. The question is that while i was young and i was playing with green peppers and one of the seeds went into my eye(according to my parents) and got stuck on the pupil. I have been to so many local doctors and no one knows that what is it? Please reply and help me out. Thanks
* As per my clinical experience, the chronic history of childhood exposure to chilly in eye indicate grave internal insult to the eye site of the same side.
* It is the acute edema and inflammation induced retinal damage or micro vasculature compromise which gives very sudden and severe onset of blindness in many of the cases.
* Usually the vision loss is permanent unless some cornea or retina transplant is involved in few selected centers of the world.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
