Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . This is very clear that this cream doesn't suits you . The symptoms you mention in query are clearly indicating allergic reaction.

This is kind Ayurvedic product and we can not say clearly which ingerdient is causing problem.

But in your case it is creating problem that is ' CONTACT DERMATITIS '.

I would suggest you to :-

- Give cold compresses to affected area twice a day .

- Stop using this product immediately.

- Take over the counter anti histamine drug like benadryl for 3-4 days .

- Use ' KOJIC ACID ' cream twice a day . It is very effective and safe for long term use .

- Continue using sunscreen while in exposur to sun.

If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment for limited period , hydroquinone cream, retenoids or antibiotics .

Doctor may also recommend procedures like chemical peeling.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
