Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter has uriniary releace problems, and infections, while having also, severe bowl problmens. not diareeah, but backed up very bad. her G.I. specialist did many tests and has ruled out crones, colitis, IBS and a celiac disease. she has SLOW pelvic floor issues. has to see a nurologist now for further tests. what is your comment, on what it could be.
Based on the history you have shared, your daughter is having weak pelvic floor muscles. she needs to consult a neurologist and get herself medications that will strengthen her pelvic muscles. There are exercises also to increase the strength of pelvic muscles and she should try those as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
