Suggest Treatment For Penile Pain

Question regarding some inner pain after hanging a weight from my penis, my goal is to simply lengthen the shorter side so I dont lose any girth but for the first time last night I felt pain to the inner penile structure, kinda feels like being punched in the gut, so as far as I m concerned I m done with that. My only concern is does hanging weights simply pull out the inner penis or do you stretch it externally by doing so? Also wanna know if I should worry about it, I ve only been doing this consistently for like a week and a half

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a contusion or sprain due to hanging weight. Do not try to hand weight as it will cause unwanted complications like a penile fracture.

As of now, you can take over the counter available analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

An ultrasound scan is required to know whether there is any fracture or internal injuries.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
