Suggest Treatment For Peritonsillar Abscess For A 29-year-old Male
Hi
I am 29 yeas old asian male and recently I have been treated for left peritonisllar abscess and since then I am loosing my weight which concerns me a lot. I am not experiencing any fatigue or weakness but I go for poop whenever I eat. It would be great if I can get any suggestion.
In such infection difficulty in swallowing present , And as it is infcetive condition weight loss can be there..
Hope you were given full course of antibiotic...
If residual abscess there , it should be drained ....
Salt water gargles done ...
Here frequent defecation after eating can be from functional cause .. Drink more water .. Fiber supplementation can be given .... Avoid excess spicy foods , excess tea , smoking etc.. Also do work up with USG ....
Advise : physician consultation...
Take care
