HI
WELCOME TO HCM AND THANKS FOR THE QUESTION.
YES,HYPOTHYROIDISM AND PERNICIOUS ANEMIA ARE RELATED.THEY ARE AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES IN WHICH THERE IS SELF DESTRUCTION OF THYROID AND CELLS IN THE STOMACH.
I WANT TO ASSURE YOU TAHT BOTH DISEASES CAN BE EASILY CONTROLLED.
FOR THYROID YOU NEED TO TAKE THYROXINE TABLET REGULARLY.ALSO YOU NEED TO DO TSH TEST REGULARLY TO ENSURE CONTROL OF THE DISEASE.
FOR PERNICIOUS ANEMIA,YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE INJECTABLE VIT B12 PERIODICALLY AND DO HAEMOGLOBIN TEST REGULARLY.
IF BLOOD TESTS SUGGEST THAT BOTH OF THESE DISEASES ARE UNDER CONTROL BUT STILL YOU DONT FEEL IMPROVEMENT,THEN I WILL ADVISE YOU TO CONSULT PHYSICIAN TO RULE OUT RELATED AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS.
I HOPE I HAVE ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION .BE FREE TO ASK FURTHER DIFFICULTIES.
WISH YOU GOOD HEALTH
