As per my clinical experience, the peroneal
tendonitis in foot manifest in various clinical directions ranging from pain, difficulty in walking to fever and sytemic symptoms from systemic inflammation.
* The management options include:
- Bed rest or spica support
- Avoiding weight bearing till possible

Analgesic and anti inflammatory medicines as tramadol hydrochloride,
diclofenac sodium with
serratiopeptidase or others
- Local injection of steroid shots or kenacort hydrochloride
- Systemic antibiotics if total
wbc count is high
- Systemic steroids in selected cases
- Laparoscopic tendon surgery or other surgical intervention as per the MRI findings or response to above therapy
