I have had IBS for about 15 years now, and I spend approximately an hour each morning on the toilet when I wake up in the morning. Since about mid-April, my urine has included some rust colored specks and some brown liquid, but only after having a bowel movement. In late May, I went in to an urgent care facility and had a urinalysis, which showed no signs of any concerns. I was put on Cipro for 10 days as a precaution. The specks and the brown liquid continue to appear at least 5 days a week, some days barely noticeable and some days very obvious. Is this a cause for concern or something that comes with age? I am now 61 years old.
