Suggest Treatment For Persistent Abdominal Pain While Treating Bladder And Kidney Infections

Hi, I recently was diagnosed with a bladder and kidney infection, and they did not give me any pain meds due to recent rehab treatment, but the pain is unbearable even with 4 ibuprofen and 2 Tylenol. I can t even poop, and I m afraid i will be constipated. How do I handle this?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain should not be as severe as you are describing especially if you are on a course of antibiotics.
Normally mild pain medication may be needed for 1 to 2 days till the antibiotics start having an effect.

If the pain is very severe, you need to be reviewed to rule out other factors that may be contributing to the pain.
You may need to have imaging done to assess for any stones or other structural problems.

I hope this helps
