Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having abdominal pain for 1.5 years. No weight loss, vomiting, jaundice, or itching. I had a normal mri of the abdomen 11/14. My pain has been more persistent the past month. It is epigastric and radiates to the back. Liver enzymes, lipase, and cbc were normal this week. Should worry about cancer of the pancreas? My research suggests i\t is very slow growing.
For persistent abdominal cramps you can take some antibiotic like norflox-tz or oflox-oz after an expert opinion along with cyclopam or meftal-spaz for severe stomach pain and cramps. Take cap omez-d or pantop-dsr empty stomach for gastric upset. Maintain the hydration of your body by taking plenty of fluids. You can go for ultra sonography of abdomen to isolate the cause.
