Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I know for a fact that I have PTSD from a rape case 4 years ago and then a couple years ago, my husband s best friend committed suicide while we were both at his house one night. I would like to get a service dog but i need to be diagnosed with anxiety and PTSD before I can register. I also need a service dog for my thyroid problems and hearing impairment.

Some advices that I can give to you to relieve anxiety are : -Relieve tension with vigorous exercise or massage. -Practice relaxation techniques. -Get enough rest. -Practice healthy thinking and stop negative thoughts. -Avoid alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, and nicotine. -Plan your day. Having too much or too little to do can make you more anxious. -Get involved in social groups, or volunteer to help others. Being alone can make things seem worse than they are.
