Suggest Treatment For Persistent Back Pain

I ve been having back pain for a week. It is mostly dull pain, but at times stabbing. It is mostly located in the lower back but seems to affect my whole back. Pain relievers seem to help. Maybe this is helpful, I ve had numbness and tingling in my right foot and hip for months, but thought it was plantars facitis or sciatica.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
There can be two issues in your case
1. Either a kidney stone
2. Or a mild sciatica becoz of the history you are mentioning.
I would suggest an ultrasound abdomen initially to rule out kidney stones.
An mri scan ot the lower back can be taken after that.
I would advise tab ultracet(tramadol+paracetamol) twice daily fir five days.
Kindly take plenty of fluids (minimum of 5lts a day)
This would reduce the pain you have been facing.
Do get back to us with the reports. Thanks for choosing HCM
