Suggest Treatment For Persistent Body Pain

the last 4 days I have been having body pain to a point it hurts to move at all. A month and a half ago I had 2 fusions in my neck and 3 years ago one in my lumbar spine. The pain is severe to me and worse than the pain I had prior to both surgeries. I was able to function now I am in tears every time I move

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Persistent body pain is usually due to stress, osteoarthritis, autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, infection due to some viral infection or chronic fatigue syndrome. Take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for pain. Take multivitamin supplements along with the minerals like zinc, calcium, and magnesium.

Visit ER, get examined physically and get CBC, urinalysis, tests for RA & OA along with nerve function tests done. X-rays or imaging tests if required. Your treatment will depend upon the reports of your findings/investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
