Suggest Treatment For Persistent Bouts Of Dizziness With Excessive Thirst

After reviewing your symptoms checker, I think it s passed time for my 27 yr old son to go back to the doctor---he s had bouts of dizziness that occur several times a day that have gone on for several days now accompanied w/ extreme thirst and tiredness--we are in central florida, but I think there s more to it than that and want him checked out. he went to the clinic at his college campus yesterday and they told him to monitor it.

Hello.

To avoid persistent bouts of dizziness and thirst, his vitals should be monitored. Such symptoms are commonly seen when the blood glucose level is low. BP is low, person is dehydrated & stressed up. He should take plenty of water and ORS to help keep the body electrolyte balance normal. Warm beverages and intravenous saline (under the treating doctor) will help to supplement the low blood pressure. He is suggested to take home made nutritious food, relaxation and adequate sleep.

Sometimes, vitamin B6 and B12 deficiency causes dizziness and tiredness. He is suggested to take vitamin B6, B12 rich food or supplements. He should take high protein diet with iron and mineral rich food. Tiredness and fatigue may be indicative of anemia, alcohol or drugs and lack of physical exercises cause fatigue. He is suggested to cut on addictions if any. To rule out dizziness due to Vertigo he can get clinically examined by an ENT. To be on the safer side he should get a cardiac check up done to rule out any developing CAD.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
