Suggest Treatment For Persistent Chest Pain

Hello, 26 yo male, who just had a physical done and blood work done. Everything was normal except my cholesterol which was 204. I ve been jumping rope the last week and have felt chest pain when pushing myself to jump longer. I sometimes notice that if the pain occurs and I take deeper breaths while jumping rope, the pain will lessen. Is it possible that it s heart related or something else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your pain could be due to muscle strain, costochondritis.
I would suggest to consult the primary care physician and undergo chest x ray and ECG scan to rule out the cardiac and pulmonary cause.
If report will be normal then doctor will provide following advise:
Tablet DAN MR
Tablet rantac
Apply warm pad application
Apply volini gel
Avoid exertion that cause pain, take proper rest.
You can also wear elastic crepe bandage to assist the respiratory movement.
Take healthy diet and avoid stress
Hope this may help you
