Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough And Headache After A Fall
Hi , I am having cough and my head spins after continuous coughing. I feel headache after coughing.A week ago I felt unconscious and felt down and got my back head injured. After two days of injuries , I started coughing and after coughing head starts sniping. I went to doctor and doctor suggested antibiotics and coughing pills but no relief . Please help , what I need to do.
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to chronic sinusitis.
The spinning after the head trauma could also be caused by an inner ear disorder (like Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo).
The loss of conscience is not related to any of the above mentioned causes. It could be related to low blood pressure, a cardiac arrhythmia or epilepsy.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests: -a resting ECG - a brain CT scan or MRI - complete blood count ' - ESR, PCR for inflammation - fasting glucose. An ENT specialist consult may be necessary to exclude an inner ear disorder.
