Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough Causing Sleeplessness
My daughter is 13 can t quit coughing and she can t take any liquids what can I try I have tried peanut butter lemon juice YYYY@YYYY we took her to dr yesterday she tested neg for flu it s just a dry hack Can t even go to sleep tried a fruit juice and threw it up because of coughing thanks
Hi,Thankyou for the Question Brief ..It could be allergy detailed answer...Since your daughter has not got other symptoms of any infection like fever,chest pain or sputum with cough,it seems she is having allergic response to some triggering factor,also change in weather can cause it.You may give her syp.albutamol 7ml three times for three days,it will be helpfull.If she gets fever or throatache ,she may need antibiotic course for 1 to 2 weeks.
