My daughter has been coughing for 3 weeks due to itchiness that stays on her throats throughout the day. 4 months ago she had an X-ray done on her chest n diagnosed with bronchitis. After taking cough mixture prescribed by the doctor finally she recover from it. But now the cough has come back again. but this time round the cough mixture did not help her at all. Please advise if nevflo will relief her scratchy throat. Thank you

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications. Avoid giving cold beverages. You should take mast cell stabilizers to prevent from infection.
You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. For now do warm saline rinses , take rest. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay. Doctor may order blood test and throat swab test.
You should get an X-ray of the chest. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for 10 days along with mucolytic agents. Go for complete blood count.
