Suggest Treatment For Persistent Coughing

Hello Dr. Rynne, I have been coughing on and off for the last 2 months sometimes uncontrollable. I recently had a soar throat for about eight days, but I sprayed my throat with Chloraseptic & Halls lozenges and it seems to be ok. I generally pretty healthy, I am concerned about this cough.

Noted you have repeated cough....

Do you have acid reflux???
As it can lead cough by chrinc irritation..
For that omez taken .
Head raised while sleeping....

If you are smoking then you may have cough by chronic bronchitis....
Chest x ray useful....

If you have allergy to certain substance like dust, pollen etc...cough can occur....
For that cetrizine can taken while cold.

If you have repeated viral infection then it can occur...

Just now treat sore throat with amoxycillin andcdrik more water.
Salt water gargle useful.
Decongestent taken if congestion more.

If cough troublesome dextromethorphan taken.

If still cough there we will do further work up
