Hi. I have been experiencing a almost constant cough that occurs in the evening, which is driving me crazy. I have use my inhaler frequently lately and I wonder if it is causing the cough? I am not cougping during the day and do not have any other cold symptoms. Today I am feeling run-down a bit, as well. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
As per your query, you have symptoms of persistent productive cough which is impairing your immunity and this is mainly because of lower respiratory tract infection and it could be due to granular pharyngitis.
Need not to worry about it. Visit pulmonologist once and get it examined. These symptoms normally take 3 days to go. If the cough is exaggerating go for chest X-ray, blood and sputum test. If it is bacterial infection start with a proper course of antibiotics. Till then give crocin 4 hourly. Apply mist humidifiers in the room. Take proper rest without any discomfort. Take water after every few mins.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
