Suggest Treatment For Persistent Diarrhea And Acid Reflux

Have rumbling, growling stomach with or without food in digestion, have had yellow, pale and brown diarrhoea 5 days, start and finish of day and a little reflux. Have issues with FODMAP foods and have avoided for five days. Don t feel its due to this. No bloating. Tender mid-belly and my right rib seems to click, once fractured it. Tender spot behind right back.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern. By what you say I feel that you are having an acute viral or bacterial dysentery. It might be because of a simple food poisoning also.

My suggestion will be that you keep yourself well hydrated and also taking Zinc supplements. Probiotics can be of good help when taken.

If there is blood in the motion or if you are getting dehydrated fast then you will require medical help and antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
