Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last 2 days I ve had a relatively dry but repetitive cough, which more recently has started to rattle mucus loose from my chest. I ve also developed a raised white-ish patch in the center mid section of my tongue (not tonsils). I ve had a family member diagnosed with bronchitis last wk by their doctor. Do my symptoms sound like bronchitis? I have no other symptoms.

Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dry Cough
Hello, It may be due to sore throat or gastritis. For that you can take tablet pantoprazole and syp mucaine gel after physician consultation. Continue steam inhalation and Betadine gargle twice a day. You can take cough syrup containing guanaphensin. In case of fever, cough with expectoration you may require antibiotics and chest X Ray after consultation. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam Kale Family and general physician
