Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dry Mouth

I have been experiencing dry mouth for a few months but it have gotten increasingly worse, this past week I have had loose stools all week with the urge to go I thought I might have a bug.. Today I was eating a bagel, my mouth felt funny to chew, when I felt my face the side by my ear, chin and mouth was swelling up. It did subside, but I have been feeling strange ever since. I think these to things are somehow related. What should I do?

Persistent dry mouth seems to be Xerostomia and could be multi-factorial. Consult general physician once and take complete history and check other symptoms to find what exactly causing dry mouth. Doctor may prescribe alternative medication course. Drink plenty of water. Apply numbing gel on tongue. You should take plenty of fluids and avoid fried food. You should use saliva substitute as t will enhance secretions of saliva and try to breath from nose instead of mouth. Chew on sugar free gum. Drink plenty of fluids.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
