Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dull Pain In Buttock

fell off ladder four days ago(Monday), bruised elbow, bump in head, started with moderate pain Thursday in left buttock where I landed on cement. I can walk good, if I sit for a little while or lying down on left side , I start feeling some dull pain. I can move around, bend, etc... with no problem. I don t see any bruising on buttock.

Hello,

Thanks for Writing to Health Care Magic and putting trust in us regarding your Health related query.
I am Dr. Saleha and I have read your message in detail, I understand your concern and will try to help you in this.

I am sorry to know that you fell but it's a pleasure to know that you didn't get any serious injuries and you are doing fine.
The fact that your can walk fine and there is no problem standing and sitting, suggests that your bones were safe.

The injury you have seems to be a soft tissue injury due to blunt trauma, some times there is no external bruise but deep down in the tissue there is damage due to trauma.

There are a few things you can do which will make the healing process faster , this usually takes about 15 days to get better .

>Take as much rest as you can.
>Save it from any further trauma.
>Warm compresses will help with the healing.
>Rub voren voltral or brufen gel/cream thrice a day for 5-10 mins daily.
>For pain you can take Tylenol or Burfen but if things are ok without pain killer you are better off it.

Dont Panic things will be better soon.

I hope this answers your question. If you have more questions, I am happy to answer.

Wish you lasting health.

Regards.
