Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dysuria In A Diabetic
I am 45 years old. Not a Diabetic or Hypertensive. I weigh 93 kg. About 8 years ago, I had persistent dysuria and was diagnosed to have Chronic prostatitis by an urologist who gave me a course of antibiotics and Tamsulosin 5 years ago I had a CT abdomen which showed acute appendicitis and was operated. Kidneys were reported as normal with an eGFR of 60 Since I had mild dysuria yesterday I checked my urine in a Lab which showed albumin TRACE. Should I worry about this? Please advise

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Usually urinary tract infection (lower urinary tract) tends to cause dysuria. Since urine test has not shown any bacteria, then there is no need to worry. You may increase the water intake and also if needed take an alkaliser which will reduce pain. Traces albumin is not to be worried about. Thanks.
