Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 8 year old son has had a fever since Thursday (3 days), with no other symptoms. Although it has gradually come down (105 on Friday), it is still significant (102.5). We ve been to Pediatrician twice, blood work normal. He seems great while on Advil but after 6hours, fever is back and he s feeling as so ☹️. The pediatrician said it s more than likely viral. Could we be missing something???? It s just seems strange to have such a significant fever with no other symptoms nor evidence of infection?!? Please advise! Thanks, Kelly
