Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been getting a fever almost every day for two weeks. My face becomes beet red and hot to the touch. It usually start about 10ish and will last throughout the day. On both of my cheeks, it will itch and if I scratch my face, large bumps will appear along with the redness. I have also been getting night sweats and then get cold. I am getting worried.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent fever along with redness and hot to touch which is probably due to viral infection which is lowering down your immunity and making you prone for infection. I would suggest you to take combination of antiviral drug along with anti-inflammatory drug. Take nimuslide along with paracetamol as well. Apply wet cold sheets on your head to lower down body temperature. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Drink plenty of water. Take hot milk rich in turmeric as it will booster immunity.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
