Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headache Post Head Injury
My sister hurt her head when a plank of bedside fell on her her head has been aching since then it s almost 15 days she is diabetic n hysterectomy done abt 6 yrs ago she has one kidney removed in childhood she was asked to take etizolam plus 10 clonotril n stemetil bit she is hardly able to lift her head now n is very weak pl advise
The headache persistently following head injury indicates possible hematoma irritating the underlying skull structures as galea aponeurosis or others. The etizolam and clonotril will keep her calm and stemetil will take care of emesis issue. However, kindly discuss the need of antibiotics as penicillin or others with anti inflammatory agents as ibuprofen or diclofenac for resolution of possible inflammation responsible for persistent headache.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
