I have had an almost constant temple area headache for five weeks. My doctor tested my blood for temporal arteritis and it didn t show any inflammation in the body. That was more than a month ago. I started out with an area on my left temple where even the slightest touch was painful. The headache now is on either or both sides but the tenderness to touch is gone.
