Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headaches And Dizziness

My daughter who is 15 has for the past 4 weeks has been having on set headaches, being light headed and a bit of pounding on the temple area. This after awhile I have noticed happens when she is doing some fast walking or any type of some exercise. She is in swimming right now but due to these issues she sometimes cannot do easy lap swimming. Approx. 5-1/2 weeks ago, she had an excruciating sore thoat, I took her to one of those in store health clinics where they said she has some throat virus, no strep which was tested. They did also find some fluid in her ears. They prescribed her Amoxicillian and some ear drops. She stopped the Amox 2 days later due to she thought she was having an allergic reaction, but later found out she had the Hand, Foot, Mouth disease. Approx. a week later when swim practice started up, she stated she was having dizziness, light headed feelings as well as headaches while doing the dry land workouts and swimming laps. A few days of this, I had her finish the Amox & ear drops. At the end of the week I took her to the urgent clinic for these symptoms. The doctor did not see any fluid in her at that time, throat was clear, told her to finish the Amox and ear drops -which we did but the symptoms still persist. So I made another Doctor appointment 2 weeks ago and at that time he did see some fluid in one of her ears and stated she could have an underlying sinus issue. He prescribed her Amox-TR-K CLV 125mg tablets and was to use for 10 days and said we didn t need to use the ear drops. After 8 days of using the medicine, she still did not have any resolvement in her issues. I then decided a few days ago to her her take some over the counter Aleve D sinus & headache or Alavert D12 allergy tablets and as well as having her breathe in some steam to possibly loosen up any crud in her sinus cavity that she maybe able to blow it out. Most of the time she as this was going on, she did not have anything to blow out -dry. As of today I thought the steam and over the counter stuff might be working, but we did some walking going thru open homes and she stated she was having some headaches as times and a bit of pounding in the temple area and most of this was outside walking and or going up stairs. It seems to me that at soon as her heart rate goes up, she starts to have these issues because when she is doing nothing or just walking normally or stuff around the house she is fine. Could this be still some sinus issue or possibly migraines? She has never had this and to have this occur at the time of High School swim season is not the best time. I m also wondering if she could have picked up something when we were on vacation -she did go in the ocean and both of my daughters came out w/sea mite bites. The other daughter has not had any issues as this one is having. My daughters issues came approx. 2-3 weeks after we came back and she did not have any cold at that time we were on vacation or when we came back other than the sore throat issue. At this time I had made another appointment for ENT doctor this week but don t know if this would be the correct doctor to see or just go and see what they have to say and go from there. I am just hoping this clears up a.s.a.p. because it is ruining her swim season. Any idea as to what to do or possibly what is causing this? Sincerely -baffaled mom YV
