General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
It is advisable to consult a healthcare provider for a proper evaluation of persistent headaches. A CT or MRI may be recommended by the healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of the headaches. In addition, the healthcare provider may also suggest lifestyle changes, such as stress reduction techniques, regular exercise, and adequate sleep, as well as medications such as triptans, beta-blockers, or anti-depressants to help manage the headaches.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
