Suggest Treatment For Persistent Heart Palpitations

Since past 1.5 yrs I am observing little abnormality in my chest. I feel like palpitation which starts around 2nd half of the day. When I checked with the doctor, they said pulse is fine, BP is normal, ECG and Echo is also normal. But when I sleep for around 10 to 12 hrs a day for 2 to 3 days, I feel absolutely normal. Please let me know if this is a matter of concern

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If ECG and Echo are normal and you still experience palpitations it's better to get 24 hours Holter monitoring and evaluation of thyroid functions and serum electrolytes for any abnormalities. If symptoms persist an electro-physiologist review may be needed.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
