Suggest Treatment For Persistent High Fever In A Baby
Dear Dr, My baby is 21 months old. Two and half month before,she has febrile seizure. That time she had no cough/cold or any other health problem but one fine morning arround 4am she had very high fever all of a sudden. Fever got down with paracetamol but again after 6-7 hrs she had fever followed by seizure. Now same thing happened again. Not sure why is she having high fever with out any symptom and why is she having seizure? Do i need to consult some neuro specialist ?

I don't think you need a doctor to check her for infection. A total blood count and urine analysis is advised.
She may be having a urinary tract infection.
