Suggest Treatment For Persistent High Fever In Child
hI my son is suffering from high fever 102.9° my doc suggested meftal p he is 2yrs n 13.6kgs so my doctor asked me to give 2ml of meftal p.. the fever went down but it stil persists. I checked in the mrng its 102.4° shud I give meftal p again or go to my doc
Understanding your concern. As per your query your son is suffering from persistent high fever which seems to be due to viral or bacterial infection and could be coinfection.
Need not to worry. You should maintain complete hygiene. You should do tepid sponging t o lower down fever. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and get it examined. You should get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid giving child any sharp spicy food. Take diet rich in fresh juices and fruits. Drink plenty of water and fluids. You should take anti-allergic medication along with proper course of antibiotic along with Ibuprofen. Avoid intake of outside food.
