General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the function of Insulin is to pump potassium into the cell and lowering the blood potassium level. It seems that the blood sugar is not under that precise control which should be there. Kindly share with me your all reports, treatment details for better guidelines in this regard.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
