Suggest Treatment For Persistent Jaundice Despite Taking Medications

hello.. i have been suffering with jaundice from many days. Intially bilirubin value was around 7.8 then it got increased even with supplement of oral medicine to 10.2, so i have changed the doctor and got admitted for treatment.after 5 days it is decreased to 1.2. then i got discharged and stayed at home with medicine suppliment i.e, ulyses. after 10 days i had a checkup and again it is increased to 2.23. i just took medicine for more 10 days and now it is 2.16. what should i do now? i cannot understand why it is not decreasing completely!! please guide me with a diet plan to be followed as i stay in hostel.

I really appreciate your concern, increasing the bilubin value in system may be due to some obstructive pathology or infection and this needs to be differentiated and need to be treated accordingly it could be surgical conditon too and care need to be taken hoep this is information helps.
