General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The history of chickengynea and then pain in joints is likely due to the weakness and deficiency of calcium and vitamin D however as per the age and female gender the arthritis is very important to be the differential diagnosis. Especially rheumatoid arthritis is very common in this age. Hence, you better go to a rheumatologist get her blood tests like ESR, C Reactive protein and X-rays of the joints done.

Wishing her a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
